Shruti is currently a policy and capacity building manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) in New Delhi, India. Shruti holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University – Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and completed a B.Sc. in Statistics with Minors in Mathematics and Economics at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, India. Throughout her career, Shruti has had several jobs related to policy affairs. From 2011 to 2012, she worked as an assistant and legislative researcher to a member of the Indian Parliament. Later, she worked as content writer in the foreign policy affairs section of the South Asia Daily Brief. As PRiME trainer, Shruti has delivered the Fundamentals of M&E 1 course in Shanghai, China, which was conducted in English and French, in October 2018.
